For Founders

The company was the plan. Then it was sold.

An exit can look like an ending. It is more often an unplanned beginning, with more capital than context.

A quiet contemporary interior with long lines of light

Founders are used to making decisions at speed, inside a business they know intimately. After a sale, the decisions slow down and the knowledge thins out. Markets, structures, families and jurisdictions arrive together.

We begin by restoring proportion. Not every franc needs a thesis on day one. Some of it needs time. Some of it needs a home. Some of it needs to remain uncommitted until the next chapter is visible.

The work is to keep the founder from becoming a full-time investor by accident — and to keep the family from inheriting a set of positions they never chose.
